What Is Included in a Boiler Service?
During an annual boiler service, an engineer will thoroughly inspect the appliance and provide a report on any faults or necessary repairs.
The service includes a visual inspection to check for water leaks, damage to the boiler or its electrical components, poor installation, and potential hazards from combustible materials.
The engineer will assess the boiler’s efficiency by performing a gas rate check, a flue gas analysis, and a boiler tightness test.
Additionally, the engineer will measure system pressure at various points to ensure the boiler is operating at the correct levels.
